I'm told this is the happiest tune ever written. It certainly is fun and bright.

The variations offer more depth to a tune that owes a lot to Spyro Gyra and the melodic hook.

I wrote Sunshower as a big band chart for my band at PLC in 1992. It keeps being requested by school bands to this day and is avialble in that form from Reedmusic.com. It exists also in this form plus for jazz choir and will be featured on an album to be released in 2022/23.

A new edition of the big band chart is also imminent.
